A fun race to introduce little ones to the joys of exercising outdoors. Aimed at children between 3 and 10 but anyone is welcome.

Come and enjoy a family day out at the Cowhouse Market. There is a kiddies play area, free kiddies bike park, pony rides and more. 
 
Food and drink stalls will be open until 10 PM.  There will be live music.  For the parents who feel left out, there will be a trail run at 5 PM.  MTB trails are open all day too. 
 
Distances:
  • 1km - Start time 9h00 - Cost R80
  • 3km - Start time 9h20. Cost R90
  • 5km - Start time 10h00. Cost R100

When: 19 May 2018 - Registration from 8h00 on the day.

Distance information:

Little Tots (Suitable for push bikes and bikes with side wheels): 400m run, 1km bike, short obstacle course.

Little Champs (for children who can ride on two wheels but would still like to be accompanied by an older person): 400m run, 2.5km bike, short obstacle course.

Little Pros (for the more confident rider): 400m run, 5km bike, short obstacle course.

General Information

  • There are no age restrictions.  Enter your child for the category you know they are capable of.
  • This is not a timed event – all finishers are winners.
  • Medals and a choice between an ice cream or a pancake from the Cowhouse Market
  • Parents are welcome to accompany their children (preferably on foot)
  • Medic will be on standy

  • There will be a water point with sweets and water at the finish line and half way through the 5km cycle route

What to bring:

  • Tekkies/Running shoes
  • Bike and helmet. Helmets COMPULSORY
