The 2nd event in the 2020 series at Northern Farms. Its all about getting kids active and outdoors on their bikes.

MTB and Duathlon events for kids of all ages. 

Join in the family fun of this exciting MTB and Duathlon series for kids. 

If your kid/s do 4 of the 6 kids events they get a Series Champ cycle top at the end of the season. 

Mom and Dad can participate for FREE when you enter your child in the 2km, 5km or 10km MTB FUN, or Duathlon categories.

Race and 25km categories for ages 13+ where kids will go it alone on the incredible trails.

Distance Options and Prices

  • 2km FUN– R150
  • 5km FUN– R200
  • 10km FUN– R200
  • 10km  RACE– R200
  • 15km RACE– R200
  • 25km RACE– R230
  • POWER DUATHLON: 2km RUN, 10km MTB, 1km RUN – R200
  • MID DUATHLON: 1km RUN, 5km MTB, 500m RUN – R200
  • LITE: 500m RUN, 2km MTB, 250m RUN – R200

 

Timing Boards

  • This is a timed event. 

  • A timing board will need to be purchased in order for your child to participate in the event.

  • Once off Cost for timing board: R50

  • Cable tie it to the front of your bicycle. If you lose it you will need to purchase a new timing board.

  • If you change diciplines or distances, you will swop your board out at registration on the day of the event


 

Event Times

  • SUMMER registration: 7:00am - 8:30am

  • 25km RACE: 08:00 (kids go it alone)

  • 15km RACE: 08:05 (kids go it alone)

  • 10km RACE: 08:10 (kids go it alone)

  • POWER DUATHLON: 08:15am (parents can run/ride with)

  • MID DUATHLON: 08:20am (parents can run/ride with)

  • LITE: DUATHLON: 08:25am (parents can run/ride with)

  • 10km FUN: 08:30am (parents can run/ride with)

  • 5km FUN: 08h35am (parents can run/ride with)

  • 2km FUN: 08:40am (parents can run/ride with)

 

Late Entries & Number Collection: 

Late/Line Entries & Number Collection will take place at the venue from 07:00am-08:30am until 5 minutes before the race starts.  (Credit Card, Cash, Zapper & SnapScan).  R50 Surcharge on Late Entries on the day

 

Your entry will include the following

  • Fresh Fruit from Farm Fresh Online at the finish line

  • Aquelle Water at the finish line 

  • Nuun Hydration at the UVEX water point for 5,10, 15 and 25km distances

  • Lucky draw prizes 

  • Access to the venue trails , restaurant and facilities
